| Day of tourism | |||
| Every
year at the 27th of September the Day of Tourism is held. This celebration
takes place at the Eleftheria Square in Kos-town. At the square there are many booths where you can buy souvenirs of taste local products. At a big stage dancing-groups are performing different dances from Kos and other places in Greece. In 2005 it was the first time the presentation of the Declaration of Citizenship of the Historic City of Kos was part of these festivities. If you have been many times to Kos, local people can nominate them for this Citizenship. This year we belong to the lucky ones, together with our friends Simone and Hans. |
