| Kos in November | |||
| Most
tourists only come to Kos during the summer-season. Especially in July
and August it can be very crowded. To get an impression about the island
and the population outside the tourist-season, Willem and I decided to
spend a week on the island in November 2003 without our wives. The pictures
below give you an impression of the deserted tourist-areas, several shops
with Christmas-decorations and some nice places on Kos even I hadn't seen
before. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Kos outside the season, I surely can recommend it to you. During the whole week we kad a temperature of at least 20-25 C°, which isn't unusual for the time of the year. Also the temperature of the sea-water was very nice. Especially outside Kostown most of the shops and restaurants are closed, but the restaurants which are still open are also visited by the local people, so you can be sure of a meal of good quality. |

| The first day passed by at Dimitris to give him medicines our vet put to his disposal. Dimitris is taking care for the cats in the castle at the harbour in Kostown for 12 years and he is entirely committed to the gifts of tourists. So please pass by for a donation if you are in Kos (every day between 10-11 and 16-17). | |||
